St. Therese School is looking for a Bookkeeper for School Year 2025-2026 who will play a vital role in managing the school’s financial records and business affairs. This position is responsible for performing bookkeeping functions including budgetary control, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with school and district financial policies. High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher in business, accounting, or related field preferred. Qualifications: Minimum 1–2 years of bookkeeping or related experience; school-related bookkeeping experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access) and accounting software. Experience with QuickBooks or similar platforms is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills; Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail; Maintain complete and systematic records of all school financial transactions; Monitor account balances and ensure expenditures comply with budget limits; Process accounts payable and receivable, including issuing purchase orders and reconciling invoices; Prepare and submit timely financial reports and documentation as required; Assist with school registration, attendance tracking, and other administrative duties as needed; Serve as backup for office functions such as timekeeping or first aid paraprofessional duties when necessary.
