ELEMENTARY DUAL LANGUAGE TEACHER | ST. MARY'S ABQ (2025-2026)

Position Summary: We are looking for a dynamic educator to teach in our DL program, fostering bilingualism, biliteracy and cross cultural competencies.  The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Catholic values, a love for teaching young learners and ability to create a welcoming and engaging classroom environment amongst a strong mission led environment of team members and leaders. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Teach core subjects in both English and Spanish.  Implement a standards based curriculum, teaching and learning that aligns with the school's DL program goals. Foster students' language acquisition and cultural awareness in both languages.  Create a positive and inclusive classroom that reflects Catholic values and principles.  Communicate effectively with parents, staff and school leadership team. Participate in professional development, school events and liturgical activities.Required:  Bachelor's degree in elementary education or similar.  State teaching certificate or in process. Must be bilingual proficient. Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred and a passion for nurturing young learners in a faith-based environment.
