Although Catholic Schools Week has officially ended, St. Mary’s School continues to celebrate our students, staff and our Catholicity. We have been busy with a Sock Hop where we collected socks for those in need. Our 2
nd graders ran a special “Books with Love” collection…new books that were donated to University Hospital Children’s Division. And, we partnered with the Albuquerque Isotopes to help replenish community food banks.
We also hosted our own World Series Math Baseball where we were rocking and rolling! After the National Anthem was sung by our student body we played ball. Thank you to our “pitcher” Father Marc; he had a tricky curve ball. Our “Mathletes” were awesome as they scored
lots of runs by answering their math fast facts correctly. Our special guest was none other than ORBIT! Great fun was had by all at the “Old Ball Game”.
