There are several scholarship opportunties that you may qualify for when you complete your FACTS application.
Phillip J. Maloof Scholarship Fund - Each year The Catholic Foundation gives $50,000 in scholarships for Catholic education to families who reside in Bernalillo County, thanks to the generosity of the Maloof family. Scholarships range from $500 to $1,000 each. Scholarship selections are made by a committee designated by the Maloof family, independent of the Foundation.
Ernestine & Ivy Frank Farrar Jr. Scholarship Fund - Scholarships for parochial school students from 1st Grade through 12th Grade
Gene and Kathie Leyendecker Scholarship Fund - Scholarships for parochial school students 1st grade through 12th grade
Praying Mothers of Our Lady of Hope Scholarship Fund - Scholarships for parochial school students from Pre-K through 8th grade
Students who wish to apply for the Scholarships, listed above, must fill out a FACTS Grant and Aid Application which can be obtained online at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid.
As with all scholarship funds, The Catholic Foundation staff has no decision making authority with regards to potential scholarship recipients.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Scholarship applications are now available! Applicants must be Native American, Catholic or non-Catholic, in grades kindergarten to 12th; enrolled or will be enrolled in one of the ASF Catholic schools for the 2025-2026 academic school year. Parents must describe a verified level of need and unique circumstances through the Grant & Aid Assessment in FACTS at each Catholic school. A thorough list of criteria needed to apply can be found in the scholarship packet. Application packets must be complete and submitted by Friday, May 30, 2025. The African American Catholic Community (AACC) is an organization within the context of a multicultural church of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe that serves, supports, and reinforces the "African American Catholic family and individuals." Through the implementation of the organization's mission, the AACC is committed to the social, intellectual and spiritual growth of African American youth who attend Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. As a result, through gifts and grants provided to the AACC, scholarships are offered to eligible African American students, Catholic or non-Catholic, who attend or will attend Catholic schools in grades Kindergarten to Eighth beginning in the fall of the 2025-2026 school year.
Applicants must meet ALL of the eligibility requirements and deadlines to qualify. Scholarship awards may be provided for tuition or some portion of tuition and fees to applicants in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. Individuals applying for a scholarship should submit a complete application here by using the form below. Applications must be completed and submitted online on or before Friday, March 14, 2025. Notification letters will be forwarded to the scholarship recipients and schools by Friday, May 2, 2025.
Scholarship recipients and their families are expected to attend the formal recognition of the award on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the noon AACC Mass at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Joseph Dr NW. Principals may recognize the award recipient(s) at the school. The award may be published in Archdiocesan media outlets including PMD Express, the Archdiocese of Santa Fe website, Facebook page and X.

The Archbishop Michael J. Sheehan Scholarship honors the incredible legacy of Archbishop Sheehan, a passionate advocate for Catholic education. This scholarship is designed to support and recognize Catholic school students who exemplify academic excellence, strong character, and dedication to their faith.
Eligibility Requirements:
Grade Level: K-8 students
School Enrollment: Currently attending one of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Catholic elementary schools
Financial Need: Demonstrated need for financial assistance
Catholic Values: Actively living out Catholic values and maintaining good standing both academically and behaviorally
Nomination Process:
Students will be nominated by their school administration for consideration.
